Hi — I’m Adam Jacques, the craftsman behind Jacques Joinery. 

With a passion for precision and a love for all things wood, I bring bespoke joinery ideas to life — turning a sketch, a concept or a dream into beautifully crafted furniture that fits your space, your home, perfectly.

I believe that every space tells a story — and the right piece of furniture can become a chapter of it. Whether it’s a custom wardrobe, media wall, fitted kitchen or one-off feature piece, I design and build everything from scratch, tailored to the unique shape, scale and character of your home.

I didn’t always build furniture — after years in sales and recruitment I realised I needed work that resonated deeply and that I enjoyed day to day. I wanted craft, I wanted wood, and I wanted to create something with meaning. So I picked up the tools and launched Jacques Joinery.

Today, I’m proud to be working with homeowners, designers and architects in the East Midlands and beyond, bringing a hands-on, detail-driven approach to each project. From the choice of timber and joinery method to the finishing touches and installation, I’m involved every step of the way — so you can trust the piece you envisioned becomes the piece you live with.

The Process - 

Initial Contact: Share your vision and requirements with me, and I'll collect all the necessary details to fully understand your project.

Quotation and Scheduling: I will provide you with a detailed quote and an estimated timeline. A 10% deposit is required to secure your spot in my schedule.

Design Consultation: I will visit your home to take precise measurements and discuss your design preferences. From this, I will create a detailed design drawing for your approval.

Material Ordering: After the design is finalized and approved, I will order the necessary materials about a week before the installation. At this point, a 20% deposit is required to cover the material costs.

Installation: I Install your bespoke solution, ensuring every detail meets your expectations. I will work closely with you to make sure the final product aligns with your requirements.
