A Selection of some of my favourite Media Wall builds

Lissa In Shadow

Hague In The Castle

Hague In The Castle

After recently moving my customers reached out with an idea to bring part of their kitchen - diner to life. We based the design on a media wall they had in their last house that just worked for them and they loved, so why change things!

Finished in Lissa oak paired with painted elements in Farrow and Ball Shadow white to compliment each other perfectly.

We mirrored the stack pipe shape from the right hand side over to the left to ensure a balanced feel throughout.

Touch dimmable led strips to shed light on those wrap around shelves to shed light on any ornament.

Finished off with the essentials of the Blum soft close hinges and Drench gun metal handles.

The colour and finishing touches a nod to the kitchen on the opposite end of the room.

The aim here was to create a statement piece whilst also maximising storage, which I think we have managed perfectly.

Complete with cockbead in frame doors with inset shaker detail, along with beaded skirting and decorative cornice to tie everything together.

Sprayed in Farrow and Ball - Hague blue.

Gun metal door knobs to compliment the kitchen handles on the opposite side of the room, and onyx black hinges to match this style too.

Dimmable, chrome spotlights on the undersides of the open shelving along with sockets added behind the tv along with in the lower side units with grommets in the worktop for easy access to power for lamps and smaller electrical items.

Eduoard The Canard

Hague In The Castle

The brief… contrasting dark colours and panelling, plenty of storage and a nod towards Eduoard, the brass canard.

Farrow and ball - Hague Blue cabinetry, warm oiled oak panelling come together for this timeless, modern finish.

For the nod towards Edouard, we added polished brass inlays along the worktop edges - a subtle detail that makes all the difference.

Finished off with Plank hardware brass handles.

Toton Transformation

The customer wanted to move away from pre-built furniture to house the tv and storage and opted for this 6 shelf design to sit within the alcove of the room.

We went with chrome down lights and sockets to match existing electrical points in the room. With additional sockets on the left side for the all important Xbox and broadband routers. Down lights linked to a remote socket to be controlled with ease.

Finished off with an @evonicfires E1250 fire.

Mickleover Media

Mickleover Media

We went for this unsymmetrical design to allow for a whole range of storage - some for books, some for storage and some larger spaces for pictures.

While designing something unsymmetrical was a bit of a head scratcher at first, I’m really happy with the final design we settled on.

We ran sockets to behind the TV with access holes to allow the passage of wires without them being visible from the soundbar and virgin box back to the TV. The lights were ran though a dimmer switch and a remote socket allowing them to be turned on from anywhere in the room.
